The download example below shows how Flash Advertising files should be linked for proper usage on JSOnline.com and our sister sites.
NOTE: The Actionscript in the FLA file is attached to the "button" layer. DO NOT add to, or alter the ActionScript in any way otherwise the click tag won't work.
The use of clickTAG is an industry standard and should be followed in any creative you send to your account representative. We also recommend the use of Flash 8 or earlier for your file format.

Flash ads must also have alternate JPEG or Gif version
For agencies or individuals supplying Flash animated ads, you must also include static JPEG or animated GIF versions of the ads for those JSOnline.com users that do not have Flash installed on their systems. These Alternate versions of your ads cannot exceed 40k each.

- - Video pre-rolls can be no longer than 15 seconds.
- - Client can provide video pre-rolls as a finished .FLV file or other formats and we will convert to .FLV
- - Acceptable media formats: BetaSP tape, Video DVD, or electronic file.
- - Acceptable electronic formats: Quicktime .MOV (preferably encoded in H.264), Windows Media .WMV, .AVI , MPEG2, MPEG4.
- - Electronic formats should be full resolution and a encoded at a minimum of 1500kbps
Specs for supplying a finished .FLV file
- - Dimensions - 480x360 (4:3 Full Screen) or 480x270 (16:9 Widescreen)
- - Video length (in seconds) - up to 15 seconds
- - Flash version - Flash 8 /On2 codec
- - Frame rate - same as source or ½ of source (15 - 30 fps)
- - Key frame - every 30-60 frames (2 seconds)
- - Video Data Rate - 600kbps
- - Audio Data Rate - 48kbps
- - Total Data Rate - 648kbps
- - It is recommended to crop to TV-Safe Area and de-interlace. Video should not include a leader.
- - Clickable, please supply a click-thru URL
- - 3rd Party Serving: A single redirect (http:// or https:// path) to the FLV is permitted. Must contain the .flv extension in the creative return. Any other ad tags (JS, HTML, or IFRAME) are not supported within the Flash environment.
